Indie Cover of the Day: 7 Brothers #1 (vol. 2)

I read the first series and didn’t much care for it, so I never bothered with this second volume. However, I love cover artist Celia Calle’s work, so here’s her cover for 7 Brothers #1, vol. 2:

I’m sorry, that’s John Woo’s 7 Brothers, from Virgin Comics, 2007. You know, because the whole reason for the existence of Virgin Comics was to “develop” stories from famous movie directors as comics, so they could in turn be pitched back to Hollywood as movies. Yes, that made for some crappy comics, as you can well imagine. Ugh.

The first series was written by Garth Ennis, this one by Ben Raab.
